In the museum you will learn everything about the history of the fort. There are several exhibitions. Around Fort Kijkduin, special events have taken place that have been important for Dutch history. Experience, for example, how things went at the Battle of Groote Keeten and imagine yourself part of the English army that invaded the Batavian Republic in 1799. Walk with Napoleon and discover how Fort Kijkduin has changed over the years. World War II is also discussed.
At the end of the museum you wander through the hollow bear (connection corridor) and you enter the ejection gallery. Outside is the powder room and through one of the bastions you enter a long underground tunnel. This is where the bunker route starts, a short walk through the beautiful dune landscape of the fort. The bunkers are from the period of the interwar period and experimental. You can go anywhere to take a look!
