“The pack on the marine was the pack I used in college. The pack and rig on the army guy was my Dad’s in WWII. The Army guy is kind in honor of my Dad and my uncle. Both were in the Army and both were first lieutenants. However my uncle was in the infantry and my Dad was in the engineers. If you look on the lapel of the mannequins jacket he has infantry bars. If you look closely at the mannequins shirt he has an engineering bar. Also, and you can not see it, on the army mannequin’s right sleeve is the patch for ‘Capitol Defense’. That is were my dad served. On his left sleeve is the patch for the 45th infantry division. That is were my uncle served.”
